Installing skins on a Lenovo Yoga

Yoga laptops have 360° hinges, which means the skin has to handle rotation stress at the edges. The install guide marks tack points for each Yoga model.

Start by aligning the lid using tack points. Work the squeegee outward. Take extra care on edge wrap — the convertible hinge puts more stress on edge adhesion than standard laptops. Room temperature around 70°F works best.

Can I remove the skin later?

Our skins are designed to peel off with heat from a hair dryer. Apply gentle heat to the edge, lift slowly, and the skin should come up without leaving residue. Always test with low heat first on textured or painted chassis.

Does the skin survive the 360° rotation on Yoga convertibles?

Yes. The skin cuts around the hinge line so nothing crosses the rotation zone. Lid and bottom are separate pieces with clean hinge-line edges. A solid initial edge seal during install matters — check the install video for the edge-wrap technique.
