Our cast vinyl is up to 3.5 mil thick - the same dual-cast film used in professional vehicle wraps. Controltac adhesive allows for easy, precise positioning during install, Comply air-release channels help you get a bubble-free finish. We use the best vinyl because you deserve the best experience.

Every kit ships with two copies of your design - one for the install, one to keep for when you want a refresh. So when you're ready for a fresh look down the road, it's already in the box.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find my exact model number?

The model number is usually printed on the bottom or back of your device - look for a string like A2894 (Apple), 82-100003 (Lenovo), or SM-S928B (Samsung). If your model isn't listed above, any device sharing the same chassis is compatible.

What comes in the box?

Every Framework Desktop kit includes two complete skins (so you can practice or redo), an install kit with squeegee, plush towel, and tweezers. The contents list on your selected kit shows exactly which surfaces are covered.

How hard is the install?

Most of our skins take 15-30 minutes. We film start-to-finish installs for nearly every device we cover - watch the video first, even if you've done this before. The two-skins-per-order policy means you can practice on the first if needed.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship from the US in 1-2 business days. Ground shipping takes 5-7 business days in the continental US - free on orders over $75 with code FREESHIP75.

What's the difference between Standard and Advanced vinyl?

Standard vinyl is our everyday cast automotive film - forgiving install, wide color range. Advanced vinyl includes textured and special-finish films that genuinely require a harder install method. Watch the install guide before choosing an Advanced finish.

Will the skin fit under a case?

Yes. Our skins are ~0.2mm thick - thinner than most manufacturer tolerances - so nearly every case fits over them. A few tight-fitting leather or glass cases may feel snugger.

Can I return a skin?

Yes - easy returns on unused, unpeeled, non-custom orders. Custom-designed kits aren't returnable, but we remake any order that arrives wrong.
