Installing skins on a Lenovo Legion

Legion laptops have hidden vent cutouts on some models (the 7i and Pro variants have the 'forge' vent layout with hidden rear vents). The install guide marks tack points for each Legion model.

Start by aligning the lid using tack points. Work the squeegee outward. The bottom panel comes next, with the rear hidden vent cutouts as the alignment reference. Room temperature around 70°F works best.

Is the Legion Pro skin different from the regular Legion?

Yes. Legion Pro 5 and Legion 5 are different chassis — the Pro line has more aggressive thermals and a different design. Match the exact Pro or non-Pro model on the product page.

Can I remove the skin later?

Our skins are designed to peel off with heat from a hair dryer. Apply gentle heat to the edge, lift slowly, and the skin should come up without leaving residue. Always test with low heat first on textured or painted chassis.

Will a Legion 7 skin fit a Legion 7i?

No. The 7 (AMD) and 7i (Intel) have different chassis and hinge designs even in the same year. Match the exact model on the product page — the "i" designation matters.
