Installing skins on an Asus Zephyrus

Zephyrus models have tighter edge tolerances than most Asus laptops — the thin chassis means precise cutouts and clean edge wraps. The G14 and G16 have the AniMe Matrix LED array on some variants, which requires careful alignment.

Start by aligning the lid using tack points. Work the squeegee outward from those points. The bottom panel comes next. Room temperature around 70°F works best.

No. G14 and G16 have different chassis dimensions even within the same year. Match the exact model on the product page — a G14 2025 skin will not fit a G16 2025.

Can I remove the skin later?

Our skins are designed to peel off with heat from a hair dryer. Apply gentle heat to the edge, lift slowly, and the skin should come up without leaving residue. Always test with low heat first on textured or painted chassis.

Does the skin work with the AniMe Matrix LED array?

Yes. Templates for AniMe Matrix Zephyrus models cut around the LED array so it stays fully visible and functional. The array animates through whatever material you chose, framed cleanly.
