Most installs take 20–40 minutes for a careful first-timer. The install video for your specific model walks through each panel. We include two skins per order, so if the first install doesn't go as planned, you have a second to try again.

Every template is designed on the actual device before release, so fit issues are rare. If something's off, reach out — we'll offer install help or process a return on unused, non-custom orders. Check the install guide for cutout reference before installing if you're unsure.

Yes. The skin goes over the entire lid, replacing the factory color completely. If you want to keep the factory color and protect it, a skin isn't the right choice — skins transform the look rather than preserve it.

Our skins are designed to peel off with heat from a hair dryer. Apply gentle heat to the edge, lift slowly, and the skin should come up without leaving residue. Always test with low heat first on textured or painted chassis.

Flip the laptop over — the exact model is printed on the bottom label (VivoBook 15 OLED, VivoBook S 14, VivoBook Pro 16X, etc.). The variant matters because VivoBook covers very different chassis designs under the same brand name.
