Most installs take 20–40 minutes for a careful first-timer. The install video for your specific model walks through each panel. We include two skins per order, so if the first install doesn't go as planned, you have a second to try again.

Every template is designed on the actual device before release, so fit issues are rare. If something's off, reach out — we'll offer install help or process a return on unused, non-custom orders. Check the install guide for cutout reference before installing if you're unsure.

XPS model numbers include the year — XPS 13 9340 is a different chassis from XPS 13 9350. Check the bottom label for the full model number and match it on the product page. Dell reuses series names across multiple generations.

Our skins are designed to peel off with heat from a hair dryer. Apply gentle heat to the edge, lift slowly, and the skin should come up without leaving residue. Always test with low heat first on textured or painted chassis.

Most XPS sets include a palm rest piece. The product page for each XPS model shows what's included. The palm rest skin goes over the factory carbon fiber, so the finish matches whatever material you chose.
