Installing skins on an Asus ProArt

ProArt laptops have some of the cleanest geometry in the Asus lineup — designed for professional use, which means fewer RGB zones and simpler vent layouts. The install guide marks tack points for each model.

Start by aligning the lid using tack points. Work the squeegee outward. The bottom panel comes next. ProArts are among the more forgiving laptops to install. Room temperature around 70°F works best.

Is the ProArt StudioBook skin different from ProArt P16?

Yes. Different chassis, different template. Match the exact model on the product page — ProArt naming can be confusing, so the full model string matters.

Can I remove the skin later?

Our skins are designed to peel off with heat from a hair dryer. Apply gentle heat to the edge, lift slowly, and the skin should come up without leaving residue. Always test with low heat first on textured or painted chassis.

Does the skin interfere with the ProArt Dial?

No. Templates cut around the Dial so it stays fully visible and functional. The tactile rotation works as before, framed by whatever material you chose.
