Installing an Asus phone skin

ROG Phones have complex back panel design — RGB zones on some models, AeroActive Cooler attachment points, and angular chassis. The install guide marks tack points for each model.

Start by aligning the back using tack points. Work the squeegee outward. Take care around the cooler attachment cutouts if your model has them. Room temperature around 70°F works best.

How long does it take to install a phone skin?

Most installs take 10–20 minutes. The install video for your specific model walks through the back panel, camera cutouts, and any edge wrapping. Two skins per order means you have a second if the first install doesn't go as planned.

What if the skin doesn't fit my phone?

Every template is designed on the actual device before release. If something's off, reach out — we'll remake the skin or process a return on unused, non-custom orders. Check the install guide for cutout reference before installing if you're unsure.

Will the skin work with my case?

The vinyl adds minimal bulk, so most cases fit over it without issue. Tight-fitting cases or ones with raised lips may sit slightly tighter, but the phone still feels like the phone. For MagSafe cases, check the install video for that device — some skins leave the ring exposed.

Will the skin work with the AeroActive Cooler?

Yes. The template includes cutouts for the cooler's attachment points and contact zones. The AeroActive Cooler snaps on and operates normally with the skin installed.
