ROG Ally X has a darker chassis than the original Ally with a more aggressive design language. Material choice should amplify the gaming character.

Black Carbon Fiber, Black Honeycomb, Forged Carbon, and Black Matrix all sit naturally on Ally X. Matte Black preserves the clean factory look while changing the texture.

Installing a ROG Ally skin

ROG Ally X sets include the console back, grip areas, and the extra back-button zones. The install guide walks through each piece.

Start with the back using tack points. Work the squeegee outward. Move to the grips next — Ally X has more pronounced grip curves than the original. Take care around vent cutouts. Room temperature around 70°F works best.
