The soundbar hinge runs along the full width of the lid and houses part of the Bowers and Wilkins speaker system - it's a prominent physical feature. Our lid skin covers the top of the lid and is cut to the lid's profile; the hinge itself rotates and isn't a surface the skin sits on, so audio performance isn't affected. Returns and exchanges work the same way: you have 30 days from delivery, the skin has to be unused and on its original backing and packaging, and return shipping plus any original shipping charges are yours (shipping isn't refundable). The one difference - a refund carries a 20% restocking fee, an exchange doesn't.

Yes, our vinyl is designed to come off when you want a change. Take your time at the corners and edges, and the skin should lift in one piece for most installs. Removability is part of why we ship multiple copies - peel one off, refresh with the next.

Yes, our skins are cut for the 2023 Yoga 9i 14" (Gen 8, model 14IRP8/83B1) chassis. The 2022 Gen 7 shares the same physical dimensions, so there's a reasonable chance of compatibility, but we haven't verified it against that chassis directly.
