Installing a Galaxy Z Fold or Z Flip skin

Folding phones have multi-panel install sequences — the outer back of Z Fold, the cover display area on Z Flip, and sometimes additional panels. The install guide walks through each panel.

Start by aligning the first panel using tack points. Work the squeegee outward. The skin does not cross the hinge — each panel has its own template piece. Room temperature around 70°F works best.

Can I skin the outer display on Z Fold or Z Flip?

We don't cover the active display surfaces — the skin goes over non-screen panels only. The outer back of Z Fold and the top/back area of Z Flip get covered; the actual displays stay untouched.

Will the skin work with my case?

The vinyl adds minimal bulk, so most cases fit over it without issue. Tight-fitting cases or ones with raised lips may sit slightly tighter, but the phone still feels like the phone. For MagSafe cases, check the install video for that device — some skins leave the ring exposed.

Does the skin cross the hinge on folding phones?

No. Each panel has its own template — the skin doesn't bridge the hinge. Folding and unfolding works exactly as before, with no stress on the skin edges.
