Installing skins on an Acer Swift

Swift laptops have clean geometry and tight edge tolerances — the thin chassis requires precise cutouts. The install guide marks tack points for each Swift model.

Start by aligning the lid using tack points. Work the squeegee outward. The bottom panel comes next. Take care on edge wrap — Swift's thin profile is less forgiving of misaligned edges. Room temperature around 70°F works best.

Flip the laptop over — the model is printed on the bottom label (something like SF14-71T or SFX14-71G). Match the full model string on the product page.

Can I remove the skin later?

Our skins are designed to peel off with heat from a hair dryer. Apply gentle heat to the edge, lift slowly, and the skin should come up without leaving residue. Always test with low heat first on textured or painted chassis.

Is the Swift X skin different from Swift Go or Swift Edge?

Yes. Swift X, Swift Go, and Swift Edge are all different chassis with different dimensions and cutouts. Match the exact Swift variant on the product page.
